Uniao de Leiria Coach Skedaddles

Uniao de Leiria is headed to Coimbra without their coach. Domingos Paciencia has resigned his post as team manager, citing, per Reuters, “disciplinary problems with some players.”
Uniao de Leiria are a relatively forgettable team, as they haven’t ever finished higher than 5th place and spent a good part of the 80’s and half of the 90’s wallowing in lower division football. They were, in fact, the club from which FC Porto plucked Jose Mourinho. Mourinho spent only half a season with U.d.Leiria until he moved to Porto and the whole world began to realize that his bowels smell of mint chocolate chip ice cream and his tears could cure cancer.
Oh, and yes… skedaddle is a real word.

Domingos was a decent scorer for PT and one that left its mark in FCPorto… I didn’t hear anything about him resigning till now… Thought he was doing good in Leiria… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domingos_Paci%C3%AAncia
