UEFA Cup Non Recap: Sporting 0 - 2 Rangers

Okay I can stop feigning interest in this now. Yay! I must admit this is one of those things where if they would have won, further progress might have piqued my interest, but I was so passively watching the match that I hope Ian does a decent job of recapping it for you. The first goal was on a darting counter attack and the second was more a product of Sporting pouring forward than anything else. Portugal are now nowhere to be found in European Club Competitions (unless you count our lean, mean, Magic: The Gathering team). Boo frigging hoo.

Didn´t see the match, just the 5´ summary… Man… Same old story… A million shots on goal, nice ball playing, a shitty counter, and puff…
Must say that I wonder if the goals Djaló scored recently weren´t enough for Paulo Bento to risk putting him up front, where he belongs, and Vukcevic in the midfield, where he also belongs…Posted from
