

U-21s Tied, Simao is STILL On Liverpool’s List, and The Sopranos Ending Was Awesome
By: Greg | June 11th, 2007Actually the ending sucked really large footballs. How pretentious can you be? The tension was good, with the door constantly opening and Tony examining the traffic entering. I didn’t care that Meadow drives like a typical woman and can’t park (please direct all sexist hate mail to bob@theoffside.com) and I didn’t care that the family enjoys onion rings. I DID care, though, that Tony has amazing taste in music (Journey was fronted by Steve Perry who is Portuguese and therefore makes this commentary very relevant). Okay, now that I’ve entered my obligatory Sopranos rant, here’s what’s up:
**The U21 team (aka the future stars of the Premier League) tied Belgium 0-0. Garbage game, plenty of wasted chances and uninspired play. No more wasting future carpal tunnel on them.
**Simao Sabrosa is still being hunted by Liverpool. Sign him or don’t already, I’m tired of this being the only transfer rumor out there with any steam right now.
In honor of the “fantastic” ending to the Sopranos, I’ll end this blog with the following:
