Jornada 7 and FixtureFacts 2.7
By: Greg | October 5th, 2007
As the work week comes to a close, Portuguese teams ended up being 2-1 in the Champions League and had only one out of four teams (Braga) advance to the next round (the round of two million) in the UEFA Cup. Hoo-frigging-ray. I hate to bitch and moan, but the run of comment apathy recently is going to be reflected in this, my pre-weekend post, and FixtureFacts will be a secret message to be decoded for my rapidly dwindling group of faithfuls. You can’t spell “apathetic” without “pathetic” and that basically sums up the lack of love I’m feeling right now. It’s a really good thing that I’m not 100% insecure or I might have committed blog Hara Kari by now. Oh screw it, these pleas for discussion regarding Portuguese football are going to become (if they haven’t already) annoying and downright off-putting. Just watch the Sporting and Marítimo games, they should be decent…
-=Jornada 7=- All Times and Dates are Missing, Much Like Any Comments The Last Week
Sporting (hands) v. V. Guimarães (again)
Leixões (commenters) v. Naval (workshop)
Marítimo (incarnate) v. V. Setúbal (but)
U.d.Leiria (are) v. Benfica (are)
Académica (then) v. Porto (devil)
Braga (the) v. Nacional (the)
Paços de Ferreira (devil’s) v. E.d.Amadora (apathetic)
Boavista (idle) v. Belenenses (idle)
Key for the lesson contained in the half-assed schedule is 15-1-7-12-13-4-6-9-2-16-14-3-8-11-10-5. Figure out the significance of the attached picture featuring Devon Sawa and Jessica Alba and you get to take solace in the fact that you think exactly like I do! Kisses are reserved for when they are deserved. They are NOT all around this weekend.

Man! Somebody needs a hug or something.
I think we’re all trying to recover from a Champions League hangover.

Finally caught up on my offside reading. I’m hoping that by some miracle Porto loses bad (if not this weekend then sometime soon) so I can see the excited and profanity-laced post you’ll probably have about that.
