Moutinho on the other hand would fare much better in Spain or Italy. He is way too small for the EPL. It would be nice to see him at a club like AS Roma but I don't think they need a player like him...then again, I don't know much about Italian football.

I would hate to see him go to waste on the bench at Barca, or Madrid...he's a player who loves to play, rarely missing a game unless a severe injury prevents it.

Didn't he go all of 2005-2006 without missing a game or being subbed in the league? Or was it 2006-2007?

If Arsenal wasn't so cheap when it came to buying players, I think they could use him. With Flamini leaving and Hleb not far behind I think Wenger needs to inject some life into his midfield.

People are talking about Gattuso being brought in for cheap there, but Wenger likes his boys young.

I think a Veloso-Fabregas partnership could be very good....go Iberian Peninsula! haha

He should have never left Sporting. Now he´s comming back for a lot less money, to a team where he´s liked and where his game is a lot more influential. truth must be said, part from Adrien Silva (very young), and Moutinho (very versatile), Sporting only has M Veloso as a true holding mid. So he´s more than welcome...

I don´t think Moutinho will leave. I think he´s very complete, already excelent for his age, but I don´t see him as an "export" type of player. Veloso is a big question mark for me. There were rumours about Man Utd, but man Utd don´t need another holding mid. He can also do left back and has sometimes played centre back. But where he´s really good is in midfield. So, let´s see who needs a holding mid with a lot of potential, that might probably be sold for more cash after some 3-4 years in a top european team...
