Motivational Photography

By: Greg | September 12th, 2007

Like I said yesterday, I’ll be at a golf outing for almost all of today. However, since my boss feels the need to suck every last minute out of a work day, I’m in this morning for an hour or two before I head off to the course. I can’t believe the nerve of my boss making me come in at 7 AM for a few hours work when I’ve been golfing both Monday and today. Doesn’t he have any decency?

Instead of some stupid rant and further analysis of the match against Serbia that will all be pointless after it’s played today, I figured I’d post two pictures I took from the last World Cup. The first is a picture of my drunk and soiled friend with his shirt off. The second is how filled the streets got once we heard the final whistle and Portugal defeated the Dutch. Hopefully this Euro will bring similar celebration. See you tomorrow.

OK, I admittedly neglect to comment, have done so on few ocassions on Luis’s blog but never on yours, although I regularly (every friggin day) visit the offside/portugal blog and also play the offside fantasy, under the same handle, I’m sucking btw. Anyways, I’m sure there are many more readers like me, regardless I expect you to address your faithfulls as 11 or I’ll be hurt as I am a typical low self esteem porkchop.

    Viva Portugal, Viva SCP!!!

Keep up the good work Greg, u r appreciated.

Did anyone watch the U21 match against Montenegro yesterday? Is Manuel Fernandes a lion or what? What a phenomenal talent. This kid is going to be a giant of the game, in my opinion.

Nope didn’t watch it. Apparently he shelved one nicely and got lucky on the second.

I thought it interesting that arguably the 3 most likely candidates for defensive trinco to replace Petit all played (Pele, Veloso, M. Fernandes). Arguably M. Fernandes might slot into the 2way trinco role, but this seemingly tight defensive middle still got 4-0 result. Good job.

    *tons of profanities*

I hurried back from class to catch the end of the game on ESPN’s Gamecast…I think I jinxed them because I got there at the 85th minute or so.
